Starr County Fair Association Scholarship

Applicants must have exhibited projects at the Starr County Fair at least three years of 2009, 2010, 2011, and plan to exhibit in 2012. Applicants who plan to exhibit projects in 2012 must submit a statement to that effect signed by an adult supervising the projects. 1 scholarship of $2,000 will be awarded to the most outstanding applicant, 1 scholarship in the amount of $1,500 will be awarded to the overall runner-up, and 8 $1,000 scholarships will be awarded. ( two students will be selected from each high school in Starr county).

Eligibility Requirements:

Be a high school senior
Attend high school in Starr county
Participated or exhibited at the Starr County Fair 3 of the last 4 years
Meet minimum requirements with regard to grade point average, SAT and/or ACT scores as outlined in the individual requirements of each scholarship
